About the Event
The Next Steps Neurodiversity Expo took place on August 16, 2025, at the Grand Junction Convention Center. This free community event brought together individuals, families, professionals, and advocates to learn about supports, connect with organizations, and celebrate neurodiversity across all ages.
Vendors attended from communities across the Western Slope, from the Roaring Fork Valley to Grand Junction, creating a regional opportunity for attendees to explore a wide range of services. Inside the Convention Center, visitors connected with providers offering mental health care, therapeutic services, coaching, adult supports, educational programs, planning and navigation services, and community resources. Throughout the day, attendees discovered new tools, met providers, and learned about supports that strengthen daily life for neurodivergent individuals and their families.
The Expo also featured a series of expert led presentations that explored important topics including understanding neurodiversity in daily life, practical strategies for managing ADHD, a simulation based look at dyslexia and learning differences, and planning for long term family supports. These sessions added depth to the day and offered attendees useful skills, insights, and real world strategies.
